What is Success?

What is success
and how do I hold it
with my hands
that once held
the seeds that I planted.
It was hot that day,
and I gave my sweat
to soften the earth.
I gave my focus,
stood against a blazing
fire just for them.
Isn't it fair,
that this tree grow,
that I am the one
that climbs it?
What god prevents
me?
